The FT-500 is a highly accurate blood pressure monitor designed to take measurements in surgery waiting rooms.

The monitor automatically senses when an arm is inserted into the cuff and consequently turns on the LCD in readiness.

A gentle and clear voice reminds the user to remain quiet, still and relaxed during the measurement, then guides them through the measurement process, step-by-step.

The oscillometric measurement method is usually completed within 40 seconds and readings are to a resolution of +/- 1mmHg.

Once completed, the monitor generates an individual tear-off printout showing values for systolic and diastolic blood pressure as well as pulse rate and time and date of reading. The monitor then returns to stand-by mode until another arm is inserted.

The FT500 also incorporates an integral card-reader.
This allows patients to take and store measurements on their own individual card, issued by you, so that they and you can monitor important trends. Again, the monitor prompts to insert the card giving the option to add readings to its history.

All stored measurements can be printed at any time providing a hard copy for both the patient and the clinician and providing comparison and analysis of readings.
